At the start of the school year, all school principals and Heads of Yeshivot are sent a letter telling them about our project and the importance of good eyesight to the child’s success at school. Eye tests are held in schools for children from the first to the fifth grade. On average, some 120 children are examined every day. We send a letter to the parents informing them of the condition of their child’s eyesight.

An optometrist and an assistant perform the eyesight examinations at school, all free of charge. Parents are sent a letter explaining the state of their child’s eyesight. Lower income parents are invited to the Foundation’s Center. Showing parents the importance of their child’s eye sight
