Eye tests are held in schools for children from the first to the fifth grade. On average, some 120 children are examined every day. We send a letter to the parents informing them of the condition of their child\u2019s eyesight.<\/p>\n
An optometrist and an assistant perform the eyesight examinations at school, all free of charge. Parents are sent a letter explaining the state of their child\u2019s eyesight. Lower income parents are invited to the Foundation\u2019s Center.
